MONTFORD HOTEL

This 150-key hotel will land at the corner of Meeting and Huger Streets. The project aims to activate the corner, featuring a ground-floor restaurant with generous outdoor dining. Including a rooftop pool on Level 5 and a rooftop bar and restaurant on Level 8, that offer panoramic views of the Peninsula. The design takes a modern twist on historic Charleston featuring a divided mass with a striking corner building that creates a prominent anchor for the site. Located on Meeting Street which is a central part of the tourism corridor of the city the area provides guests access to freeways and the airport and places them in a growing neighborhood full of walkable local businesses. The Montford Hotel just received preliminary BAR approval.
